This special educational session has been organized for the procurement and construction personnel of Public Sector BUYERS (MASH sector - Municipal, Academic, School, Health sectors) will be led by former DCC Senior Vice-President Ron de Vries and will offer participants insight to the key considerations as to deciding on which is the best construction delivery option from the traditional “Design-Bid-Build” to “Construction Management” to “Design-Build” to “Triple P – Public-Private-Partnerships”.
Ron de Vries with his 30 years of delivering projects both large and small through DCC for the Canadian military across Canada will share the insights gained as to the pros and cons of the risk areas (financial, scope, schedule, quality and contract management, procurement, resources) tied to each delivery method.
Following Ron’s powerpoint presentation the conversation will expand to include the perspectives of the architect and builder who will be represented by David McRobie of McRobie Architect & Interior Design and Kevin Skinner of PCL Constructors.
