It allows you to capture information in a variety of ways and then organize and use it according to your needs. Who should attend
This course is designed for those who want to use OneNote to capture, organize and manage their notes and collaborate effectively with others.
To begin, you will be introduced to OneNote 2010 and its interface. You will learn the basics of all ribbon commands on the Home, Insert, Share, Draw, Review, and View tabs.
Creating and Sharing Notebooks
One of OneNote’s best features is the way it can be used to share content with others over multiple locations. This lesson will discuss how to create and share a notebook, keep notebooks up to date, and work with page versions.
Managing Notebook Information
You will learn how to create and manage both sections and pages in your notebooks. You will also learn how to create and manage section groups and subpages.
Customizing OneNote Pages
Next, you will learn about page templates and how to set up pages in your notebook. Other items such as author indicators, rule lines, and time/date stamps are also discussed.
Using Tags in OneNote
In this section, you will learn about one of OneNote’s most useful features: tags. You will learn how to use tags to flag important information. Tag customization and search functionality is also discussed.
Integration with Outlook
Finally, you will learn how to insert a wide variety of items in a note, create and use audio and video files, work with information that has been pasted into OneNote. You will also discover how OneNote works in conjunction with Microsoft Outlook. The OneNote printer is also discussed.
Two 2.5 hour WebClass sessions
Webinar instructions will be provided before the start of the course. All students should be on Outlook 2010 or newer. Dual screens are not necessary, but ideal.

Our WebClasses, in essence are seminars on the web. They offer the convenience of training from your desk, in less time and at a more affordable price. Our WebClass consists of two 2.5 hour live sessions. We break up the sessions in two to allow for practice time (1 week apart).
